PAST EVENTS
BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER:
Our Council-sponsored breakfast fundraiser on November 11th in the parish hall was a huge success.
Event coordinator Ken Hitchcock and his able volunteers did a great job providing the parish with a good
breakfast and an opportunity for fellowship, while raising about $200 for Council activities. Thanks to
Ken and everyone who helped make the event a success.
UPCOMING EVENTS
PARISH CHRISTMAS PARTY:
The St. Bridget’s Council of Catholic Women (CCW) and our Knights Council will co-host this year’s
parish Christmas party on December 8th after Saturday Mass. Be sure to get this on your family
calendar. This potluck dinner party will include music from our local DJ and a visit from Santa and Mrs.
Claus.
GRAND KNIGHT’S REPORT
14 Brother Knights attended the Council 11424 monthly meeting on November 18th.
Thanks to everyone who helped set up, cook, and clean up for our recent breakfast fundraiser.
Our parish really benefits from these social events which foster our sense of community.
Last month I asked everyone to consider heading up some of our various Council activities.
I’m pleased to announce that Brother Frank Kartz has volunteered to become our Council Membership
Director. It is an important position for the future growth of the Council, and I ask everyone to support
Frank’s efforts to bring in new members.
Similarly, Brother Jeff Templin has graciously offered to coordinate the youth group’s semi-annual clean-
up of the exterior of the church. This is a great opportunity to get our youth to be proactive in the life of the
parish as they develop a sense of ownership of our parish infrastructure.
